What are dreams actually?

Dreams are anything but a meaningless construct of the mind - or a trivial processing of the day without depth. No, quite the opposite. So-called dreams contain messages for us that need to be decoded in order to gain wisdom that will help us to progress in this incarnation. These messages are often packaged metaphorically and symbolically - and the whole thing can be very crazy. But such is the language of dreams - it is something very special - something very unique - something profoundly intense, so that we can grasp the message that is so urgently needed to be understood.

Now the question may arise: "Who communicates with us there in the nightly journeys? Who designs the dreams for us, in this truly ingenious creativity?"

According to my own experiences and research, I can say with deep conviction that it is our soul guides, the beings of the higher dimensions, who communicate with us on these fantastic levels. Of course, communication happens all the time, even right now here on this physical plane - but it is precisely in night-time dreams that a special depth of certain messages can be packaged, which we literally perceive in vivid images - if you like, "as actors in our own movie".

It is quite common for nightly dreams to reveal a future event for us - one could also call this a prophecy, the content of which does not necessarily have to be something earth-shattering, as the great prophets of old revealed - it can be a simple message that prepares us for a personal event, for example - but of course it can also give us an insight into possible upcoming global events.

I think these revelations serve different purposes - in any case, to teach us to break our self-imposed boundaries in our minds and understand that there are far more ways to experience life than we have been taught in society for so long.

Furthermore, these prophecies show us that time is not linear, that we only have a linear view of time here on this physical plane. You can literally dive into deeper levels of your consciousness "at any time" and thus experience more of the truth.

I see our nocturnal dreams as a gift, even if their content may not always appear rosy if something deeply emotional needs to be transformed and the corresponding scenes of inner conflict are depicted in vivid and very intense scenes. But dreams are and remain something very special - and every night offers us the opportunity to dive deeper into them.
